Aim of Palliative Care:

The focus of palliative care is to maximize the patient’s quality of life and ensure a comfortable environment during this difficult time. Palliative care is focused of remedying both the physical symptoms that the patient may experience, as well as cater to their emotional and spiritual concerns.

The care also entails regular caregiving duties, which takes the load off of other household members so they can spend quality time with the patient.
